Once Upon an Emo Time...

Chapter 1: The Man, the Canary and the Swallow

There once was young man.. who had a Canary.. the Canary has a lovely voice and beautiful feathers that glitters like gold in the sunlight.
The man loves the Canary a lot and feed her with food and water regularly.
The Canary loves the man too, for the love and affection he showered on her, and would sing beautifully everyday.
The man would bring her around in a cage whenever he goes to show it off to his friends. And the Canary would sing beautifully each time.

Days, weeks and months gone by...
In a blink of an eye, a year has passed..
The man found other passions and stop bringing the canary out, nevertheless the canary continue to sing in her cage as usual.
Each passing day.. the food and water in the cage get lesser and lesser.. and so does the interaction between the man and the canary.
The man would locked himself in the room all day.. coming out only once in a while for his own meal and replenishing a little food for her, before going back to the room again without a word. The canary would continue singing, sometimes, at the top of her voice.. hoping that her voice could reach the man in the room, and reminding the man of her existence.
This carry on for a few months until the canary fell sick.
Seeing how the food and water almost ran out and the man doesn't even seem to care was devastating to the canary.
The canary was sad and disappointed.. but still.. she wanted to reach out to the man.. and started to sing again.. this time... with a sad tune.

One day, a young Swallow drop by outside the canary's cage and started chatting up with her. The Swallow was enchanted by the beautiful voice of the canary and had been secretly listening to her singing outside the window. The swallow was well aware of the canary's situation, and when he heard the sad tune.. he knows he have to do something.
Everyday, the swallow will bring some food and water to the canary and spent most of the day chatting with her.
The canary was glad to have a companion to share her woe and started to cheer up. Her health starts getting better and she was able to sing beautifully again.
But her situation doesn't changed.. the food in the cage continue to get lesser and lesser.. while the young swallow continue to bring food for her everyday.
Will things get any better if this goes on?

How Emo Wednesday got started..

Ello everyone..
First of all.. thanks for visiting and taking the time to read this..
i appreciate your time and effort.. i hope u enjoyed your short stay here.

i will try to be brief and explain how Emo Wednesday got started..
in fact.. it wasn't Wednesday to begin with.. it started on a Thursday, when one of my friend started feeling emo.. and a few others starts to feel emo too. (Including me)
it's like a contagious virus, that spread through a medium called Facebook. =P
since that day, i declared every Thursday as emo day (for a month or so)
Until last week, i officially changed emo day to Wednesday..

why? u may be wondering..

for a few reasons..

1. It's hard to emo on Thursday, as the next day is Friday..
2. Wednesday.. is like in the middle of the week.. not here.. and not there either.
3. Wednesday.. is the longest day in the dictionary..
4. Wednesday.. when literally translated in Chinese,
Wednesday = 为你死day (lame.. i know)
5. Emo Wednesday sounds better than Emo Thursday
6. Wednesday.. is the name of the emo little girl in "Addams Family"

Yep.. that's about enuff reasons to emo on Wednesday.. So.. feel free to join me in emo-ing and spread the emo-ness..

Also.. i am using Pon as my Blog mascot.. coz he is the cutest emo kid around. Hardcore too.. ^^

i will only post on this blog on Wednesday.. so.. feel free to drop by every once a week.
